Sydney Morton
Community Reporter
Sydney was raised to the songs of The Beatles and The Guess Who but she has always marched to the beat of her own drum.
She became the community reporter for Global Okanagan in 2019 making her mark by reporting on musicians, artists and creatives in the valley. She also highlights the amazing people that help make the Okanagan a magical place.
Growing up in White Rock, B.C. and graduating from Langara College with a diploma in journalism, Sydney cut her teeth as a reporter at the Kelowna Capital News. From there she quickly advanced into a career in broadcast.
When she isn’t working you can spot her at a show, soaking up the sun on a patio or swimming in the lake.
