Doyle Potenteau began his journalism career in 1989.
During his 35-year career, he has worked at several newspapers, including 17 years at The Daily Courier in Kelowna, B.C., where he worked up the editorial ladder from sportswriter to managing editor.
In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, golf and baseball, along with the frustrating, yet ultimately satisfying joy of working on automobiles.
