Mitchell Bailey joined the Global News team as an online web producer in May 2023.
Born and raised in Glace Bay, N.S., Mitchell moved to the Halifax area in September 2021 as he began a two-year radio television journalism program at NSCC’s Ivany Campus, graduating with a diploma in journalism.
Throughout the program, he completed two internship periods in the Global Halifax office before joining the team full-time.
When he’s not providing the Maritimes with the latest news coverage, you can catch Mitchell out for a run, trying out new recipes, and learning Spanish.
